As part of NTL's Customer First Initiative and to further improve our customer services and to provide additional means for contacting our support centers, NTL is pleased to introduce SMS Complaint Registration Service to facilitate our customers.
The SMS Gateway Service allows our valued customers to lodge a complaint with the TAC via SMS, in addition to existing telephone and email facility. This is ideal if you do not have access to the internet or are unable to reach the TAC via your telephone. This new facility has been added to reduce our valued customers' waiting time in telephonic support queues.
You can now contact our Technical Assistance Center, Billing, Sales etc by simply sending an SMS message with your user ID and brief description of your problem/issue at 0302 8555942. Your SMS message would be passed on to the available representative who would contact you as soon as possible.
The procedure to use this SMS facility is outlined below for your kind information:
SMS facility Mobile Number: 0302 8555942 (Customers are requested to save the number in mobile phone directory)
Format of message: Your User ID, followed by a space, and problem description.
For example, if your User ID is "expert" and you are facing breakdown in your FTTU service, your SMS format would be as follow:
expert my FTTU is down. Please call me urgently. Thx.
Some additional examples are given below:
Asad78 I am facing slow browsing problem. Please help. Thx.
Wajid82 I want a billing representative to speak to me urgently. Thx.
Kindly note that there is single space between your User ID and your actual message. No other characters are allowed between your User ID and message otherwise our system would not be able to recognize the message.
In case you are not sure about user ID and still want our customer support representative to call you back, you can simply send a message in following format:
I am facing FTTU problem. Please call me back on xxxxxx (please provide phone number). Thx. Imran Akhter
Customer Support Representative at the concerned department will call you back on the number, you used to send SMS.
Kindly note that the number: 0302 8555942, is directly connected to an SMS gateway, therefore voice calls cannot be entertained on this number.
